Packaging is recyclable material. Natural resources can be conserved if such waste materials are thrown away separately, sorted and recycled. Thanks to recycling, materials can be recovered from the waste packaging which are then used to produce valuable secondary raw materials which in turn can be fed back into the production cycle.
Sales packaging is separated into three different kinds of packaging: glass, paper/card/cardboard (PPK) and light packaging (LVP). Light packaging includes aluminium, tinplate, plastics and composite materials.
