EKO-PUNKT is part of the REMONDIS Group – placing us right at the source when it comes to circular economy solutions. As one of the world's largest service providers for recycling, services, and water, with more than 700 locations in Germany alone, REMONDIS has many years of experience in setting up and operating take-back systems, as well as in processing all types of recyclable materials and producing high-quality raw materials. Around 30 million tonnes of recyclables are collected, processed, and returned to industrial production each year within the REMONDIS Group.
This includes hundreds of thousands of tonnes of packaging materials, which are transformed into high-quality recycled raw materials – conserving valuable natural resources and enabling the creation of sustainable new products. New processes and facilities are regularly added to recover even more materials with even greater purity.

At EKO-PUNKT, our role as the Packaging Competence Center means bringing together all the packaging-related expertise from across the REMONDIS Group.
The result: a holistic service portfolio that’s truly unique in its scope – from nationwide collection and sorting infrastructure to ultra-pure material recovery in cutting-edge facilities, all the way to the development of sustainable packaging solutions in line with eco-design principles. A standout among the many regional and specialist companies EKO-PUNKT draws on is RE Plano – a seasoned expert in plastic processing. Each year, RE Plano produces more than 35,000 tonnes of high-quality recycled raw materials – and the numbers are rising fast.
Thanks to even closer collaboration with EKO-PUNKT, RE Plano now gains direct access to packaging streams from our dual system – forming a self-sustaining value cycle that drives itself forward.
