As regulatory requirements for packaging continue to increase, topics such as packaging recyclability, documentation obligations, and proof of compliance are becoming increasingly important for manufacturers and distributors. In particular, the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the Minimum Standard 2025 are presenting companies with new challenges.
With PackLab Pro, EKO-PUNKT offers a significantly enhanced online packaging recyclability check, supporting companies in the independent assessment and documentation of the recyclability of their sales packaging.
PackLab Pro enables a structured and transparent evaluation of packaging based on the current Minimum Standard 2025, while also taking into account the requirements of the PPWR. An integrated step-by-step tutorial guides users through the complex assessment process and facilitates the practical implementation of regulatory requirements.
In addition to evaluating packaging recyclability, PackLab Pro provides comprehensive digital documentation of the entire packaging portfolio. This includes the recording of material composition as well as the generation of certificates.
A key added value is the future-oriented capability to generate and submit a Declaration of Conformity for recyclability, as required under the PPWR, for each assessed packaging item. This provides companies with a reliable foundation for meeting their compliance obligations.
